The Muon Project

How can you visualise muon particles travelling from outer space and make a full evening show with them?   This was the question posed by Sijbrand de Jong, professor of experimental physics at Radboud University.   For this assignment I needed the help of some of the greatest programmers who could also think outside the box.  The project won the academic year prize and was shown live three days in a row with different artists.  All video and lighting was controlled by the direction and impact of the muon particles on the dome. For research I also visited CERN, that video is at the bottom of this page. Very impressive to be there.
